where we are
The Holy Island of Lindisfarne: is a small tidal island located in the furthest north-east of England approximately 14 miles from the border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
The population of approximately 180 permanent residents are served by a Parish Church and CofE school, Post Office, Village Store as well as several seasonal tourist shops.
Whilst a dwindling inshore fishing fleet remains most jobs remaining are low-apirational and associated with tourism. Inevitably the young have been forced to leave the island and seek careers on the mainland.
